An antique handmade boned lace collar and front.

This is really lovely and unusual. The Bedfordshire Maltese lace has been made into a collar which extends slightly on the front of the garment which is attached to an ivory pure silk. The collar is boned (see the photo) so that it will stand up I presume. the silk which runs down the front is attached by hooks and eyes.

Great undamaged piece.
