Sewing Cottons J P Coats set of drawers with 144 sewing cotton reels Ref:226109 This J & P Coats set of three drawers has been used very regularly over the years. As it is made of a thick heavy card the tops of the front of the drawers are rather worn. The label on the top has a piece missing and the box as a whole is rather battered. Having said all of this, the drawers are still serviceable. If you wish to buy a set of these drawers in perfect condition, then these are not for you. However if you like items from the past that have character then please continue to read. These drawers are packed full of wooden sewing cotton reels, 144 in total all of them being full or almost. There is a whole range of colours. I presume that over the years they have been replaced by the previous owner as the original were used up and therefore they are not full of J & P silk cotton reels as the box label indicates. At the fairs and on line I sell individual wooden cotton reels at £1.00 each so this collection is a real bargain. The box is 29.5cms x 21 cms x 14cms high. PLEASE NOTE that this box is extremely heavy so please contact me for postage costs before you order.
